Job Title: Permanent & Architectural Lighting Installer

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Permanent & Architectural Lighting Installer to join our growing team. This position involves installing premium exterior LED lighting systems on residential and commercial properties, including permanent roofline lighting, architectural accent lighting, and low-voltage landscape lighting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on construction or installation experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety procedures, and delivers excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install permanent architectural LED lighting systems along rooflines, soffits, fascia, and other exterior building features.
• Install low-voltage landscape lighting, including fixtures, wiring, controllers, transformers, and power supplies.
• Measure, cut, route, secure, and conceal wiring for a clean, professional installation.
• Mount lighting tracks, channels, brackets, and other system components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Configure lighting controllers, connect systems to Wi-Fi when required, and assist with programming and testing.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues, lighting failures, and connectivity problems.
• Safely operate ladders, lifts, hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment.
• Work outdoors in Florida weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety.
• Protect customers’ homes, landscaping, roofs, and surrounding property during installations.
• Maintain an organized work vehicle, tools, and installation materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic system operation.
• Complete installation checklists, document completed work, and report material or equipment needs.
• Follow company installation standards, job schedules, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, exterior installations, low-voltage systems, electrical assistance, or a related trade preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of wiring, electrical connections, and troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read installation instructions, follow job plans, and work independently when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass any lawful, job-related background or driving checks required by the company.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and safely climb and use ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Ability to stand and perform physical installation work throughout the workday, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.

• Permanent exterior LED lighting installations.
• Architectural and commercial accent lighting.
• Low-voltage landscape lighting.
• 12V and 24V LED lighting systems.
• RGB, RGBW, and smart lighting controllers.
• Low-voltage wiring, cable management, and troubleshooting.
• Residential exterior construction, soffit, fascia, and roofline work.
• Customer-facing installation or service work.
