Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support our fast-paced warehouse operations. This position is responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments, verifying product quantities, maintaining receiving records, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.

• Inspect deliveries for accuracy, shortages, damages, and discrepancies.

• Accurately enter receiving information into warehouse and inventory management systems.

• Maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation.

• Communicate shipment discrepancies and product issues to warehouse management and purchasing.

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely processing and proper product storage.

• Support inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Follow company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Perform additional warehouse administrative duties and related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, inventory control, or warehouse clerical experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.

• Proficiency with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management systems preferred.

• Ability to read and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Experience in food distribution, logistics, or wholesale operations is a plus.
