We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate a roll-off dumpster truck. Ensuring safe and efficient delivery services. Duties
- The primary responsibility of this position is to safely operate roll-off trucks to deliver and pick up containers to customer locations, and empty containers at disposal sites.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles according to DOT guidelines to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving company vehicles.
- Secure dumpsters and tarps on trucks using chains, straps, or other appropriate methods to prevent shifting during transport.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatcher.
- Effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner while on jobsites to ensure dumpster placement satisfaction.
- Use our app to properly record activities and delivery/pick-up times, including dumpster placement pictures.
- Wash the trucks as needed, approximately weekly.
Requirements
- Ability to pass required DOT random drug testing
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
