Leasing Agent needed for demanding, fast paced Property Management Company.
Leasing Agent Job Duties:
Leasing duties include advertising and promoting rental property and setting up appointments to show those properties. The leasing position includes greeting prospects and showing available rental properties; provide prospect with application and explain process and completion requirements in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements; update, advertising, social media and web site, process applications for approvals when needed (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.), submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval and follow up with applicant regarding status; immediately follow-up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close "sale" again; monitor advertising effectiveness, updating any and all forms of advertising at least once each week; organization and management of rental signs at all properties.
Administrative duties include accepting rental payments; answering phones and assisting walk-in customers; complete office filing; accurate and efficient placement of property keys to proper home.
Assist management team with other various tasks as required.
Position Requirements
Must be available to work between the hours of Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm. Hours vary within this time frame throughout the year.
Must be available to work rotating leasing Saturdays 10am – 2pm. or flexible schedule for weekend
Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
Must be detail oriented and efficient.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Must have reliable transportation to transport self to and from scheduled appointments throughout shift.
Must be proficient in latest technology & software (Microsoft Office Suite, Appfolio, Internet {Zillow, Google Docs, Word Press})
Must read, understand, and adhere to our rental agreement, our rental criteria, Landlord/Tenant Law, and local and federal laws in regards to position requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
Average base wage plus commission ranges between $16-$24/hr. Employees are also paid a reimbursement for driving their personal vehicle.
Benefits for this position currently include a Simple IRA plan with 3% company match, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave for a full-time employee.
