What you’ll do
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paints, stains, and finishes using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brushwork.
- Collaborate with clients to select colors and finishes that align with their vision.
- Execute restoration projects by repairing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and minor carpentry work.
- Assist in renovation projects by providing input on design elements and material choices.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
- Strong understanding of painting and its application in design.
- Reliable and detail oriented.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with construction estimating to assess project costs effectively.
- Familiarity with masonry, concrete finishing, and stucco applications.
- Knowledge of industrial painting techniques for specialized projects.
- Maintenance Person experience that includes fixture installation and trim carpentry skills.
