Work Schedule: Every third weekend (Sat. & Sun.) with some potential weekday hours.
Under the direction of the Resident Life Coordinator, this position provides daily activities for residents under a clearly defined plan consistent with needs identified through an individual needs assessment. Provides compassionate ongoing programming of activities which stimulate and promote the physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual well-being of the residents we serve. Fosters innovation and creative ideas that serve to enhance our programming and quality of life for our residents. Supports dementia programming and GEMS interventions.

Assists with activities for all residents in accordance with capabilities, needs, preferences and physician orders.
Demonstrates a positive, open, honest communication style with effective interaction with residents, staff, visitors and the community. Promotes a positive reflection of the facility to those we serve and those we may interact with indirectly. Seeks to engage staff, families and volunteers into the resident activities.
Ensures performance complies with regulatory standards of care, patient safety policies and procedures at all times and ensure accountability of others as identified.
