Serves as the lead librarian and provides leadership and operational expertise for the John Moritz Library at Nebraska Methodist College. Ensures excellence in library services and resources that support the teaching, learning, and research needs of students, faculty, and staff across all programs. - Lead development and delivery of information literacy instruction (in-person and online).
- Provide reference support at point of need, by appointment, or virtually.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into courses.
- Develop and maintain subject guides and digital tools (e.g., LibGuides).
- Manage library website.
- Represent the library at orientations and campus events.
- Promote student engagement with library services and resources.
- Provide training and support to faculty and staff on research and information access.
- Lead day-to-day operations, communications and assessment of library services.
- Supervise library student workers.
- Maintain and report usage and service statistics.
- Serve as library liaison for college-wide initiatives and planning.
- Oversee acquisitions, serials, cataloging, and collection development.
- Manage licensed databases and troubleshoot access issues.
- Coordinate interlibrary loan services using OCLC WorldShare and DOCLINE.
- Ensure compliance with copyright and licensing agreements.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends in academic libraries.
- Participate in College-wide initiatives and committee work.
- Engage in professional development organizations and activities.

- Master's degree in Library and/or Information science
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an academic or health sciences library setting.
- Experience in library instruction, reference services, and interlibrary loan.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
