We are seeking a Safety Coordinator who is passionate about protecting employees, residents, and visitors while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
In this role, you will coordinate safety programs, provide training, monitor compliance with safety regulations, and help create a secure environment where both employees and the individuals we serve can thrive.

As the Safety Coordinator, you will lead and support agency-wide safety initiatives through training, inspections, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities Include
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and broad experience in safety investigation and training or equivalent education and experience. Certification in various safety courses may be required.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities, particularly related to Fire Marshal compliance. Experience working in safety or security within a healthcare or educational environment
Pay starts at a minimum starting wage $27.346, Minimum permanent rate $28.714, after successful completion of original probation.

As the Safety Coordinator, you will lead and support agency-wide safety initiatives through training, inspections, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Supervise staff performing safety training and facility inspections
- Coordinate and conduct safety trainings such as CPR, first aid, defensive driving, and other specialized safety programs
- Review and analyze workplace accidents, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Consult with supervisors regarding safety concerns and preventative strategies
- Compile and analyze accident data and present recommendations to leadership
- Coordinate safety programs and meetings with supervisors across the facility
- Assist in writing equipment specifications and selecting safety-related equipment and materials
- Maintain accurate records of employee safety training and incident reports
- Ensure safety practices align with state and federal laws, codes, and regulations

- Teach and present training to diverse audiences
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Interpret safety laws, codes, and regulations
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities
