Job Description
DHHS Information System and Technology (IS&T) is seeking to hire a Delivery Lead on the N-FOCUS team. This position will work to keep multiple projects on track and ensure one or many IT delivery teams’ work is completed on time and according to process and specifications. The IT delivery teams are cross functional teams comprised of Business Analysts (BA) and Technical Analysts (TA). This role works with the portfolio management team to manage the division or program backlog and assigns work to the IT delivery team members. The Delivery Lead may, at times, perform business process analysis, design, testing or other system support needed within the IT delivery team.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Duties Of The Delivery Lead Include
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, public administration, business information systems, or a field related to the functions of the hiring agency AND two years of experience as a project manager with the responsibility to oversee the coordination, planning, initiation, and completion of major/long-term projects. OR Four years of experience and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). OR Five years of experience working on medium-to-large projects. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Job Duties Of The Delivery Lead Include
- Serves as functional lead (coordinates work efforts, assigns work, prepares project/work plans
- Monitors work progress and prepares project progress reports).
- Align priorities for the technical teams and customers, and ensure delivery team’s work supports priorities
- Management and tracking of commitments
- Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress
- Understands and monitors team capacity and assignments
- Works to minimize meetings, but when needed, they are well-run and efficient
- Manages and coordinates cross team dependencies
- Actively works to identify and manage impediments, and escalates appropriately
- Conduct Scope inquiries and facilitate business requirements sessions as needed
- Consult with leadership on system best practices
- Assist in documentation of business processes, business rules, policies and standards
- Communicate with business and technical team members
