School Psychologist
Qualifications: EdS or PhD in School Psychology. National Certification (NCSP) Preferred. Must qualify for Nebraska Teaching Certificate in School Psychology.
Length of Contract: The School Psychologist will follow the length of service as outlined in the Negotiated Agreement with an additional 5 Extended Contract Days.
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Special Services

This person must have strong consultation skills, data-based decision-making skills, knowledge of behavior and academic interventions, leadership skills, and assessment knowledge.

- Provides a broad scope of school psychological services that assist families and
- Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine appropriate
- Provides consultation and/or coaching to families, teachers, and other staff
- Provides consultation and/or coaching to teachers and other staff regarding
- Conducts individual assessments to help determine children's eligibility for
- Conducts and/or facilitates whole group, small group, or individual interventions
- Provides support and/or education for families.
- Serves as liaison between the school district and community agencies.
- Conduct in-service training for other professionals and parents when needed.
- Participates regularly in opportunities for professional growth, such as in-services,
- Serves on district committees related to issues in psychological services.
- Provides leadership to building teams in interpreting all types of data and Rule
- Collaborate with building administration to identify building needs, including
other student intervention needs as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
