Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target school districts, private transportation companies, and corporate clients within the state of Nebraska
- Conduct product demonstrations of school buses and shuttle vans, highlighting features that meet customer needs and compliance standards
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and territory management efforts
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional fleet options, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, manage sales pipelines, and analyze territory performance
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and lead generation in the B2B (business-to-business) market
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or business development roles within school, government, or commercial transportation sectors
- Strong management skills with experience overseeing territory sales and account portfolios
- Familiarity with CRM software platforms like Salesforce or similar tools for lead management and analysis
- Demonstrated ability in B2B sales, including direct sales approaches such as cold calling and product demos
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer service mindset to build long-term client relationships
- Experience in retail or inside sales is a plus but not required; a proactive approach to lead generation is essential
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and develop tailored solutions for clients

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

- school or government transportation sales: 3 years (Preferred)
