Weekend Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:
This is a fast paced physical job. You will be responsible for cleaning the laundromat, processing, washing, drying, and folding laundry items efficiently.

We are looking for someone to work from 11am-6pm on Fridays, 845am-3pm Saturdays, 10am-4pm Sundays. One position available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sort, wash, dry and fold all incoming soiled linens, garments. Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. This is a physical job and requires standing, bending and lifting pretty much the entire shift.

2. Follow proper laundry procedures and ensure that all items are washed and treated according to care instructions.

3. Fold, stack, and prepare items for distribution or storage.

4. Help laundromat patrons with issues.

5. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.

6. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

7. Take in and tag dry cleaning items.

8. Collaborate with other team members to meet daily laundry goals and deadlines.

9. DAILY CLEANING: you will reset the entire store according to detailed cleaning list that includes mopping, sweeping, wiping down machines, cleaning lint traps.

10. Must be a self-starter and be able to work with limited supervision.

This a standing position and requires long periods of standing.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in laundry or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina, as the job involves lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
