The role
The Data Center Warehouse Operations Team Lead will oversee all regional logistics and warehouse operations supporting data center infrastructure, for our locations in region. This role manages multiple Logistics Team Leads and ensures consistency, scalability, and compliance of logistics processes across sites. The manager owns strategic planning, vendor relations, operational performance, and continuous improvement of logistics systems to support business growth and global expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Define logistics strategy and ensure alignment with data center expansion and company objectives.
- Establish regional logistics policies, standards, and SOPs.
- Coordinate site-level execution via Logistics Team Leads and ensure operational excellence.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
- Manage logistics budgeting, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
People & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor multiple Team Leads and warehouse supervisors.
- Oversee team structure, hiring, training, and succession planning.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and monitor achievement across sites.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the team.
Process & System Optimization
- Drive automation and digitalization of warehouse and logistics processes (ERP, WMS, BI tools).
- Standardize reporting and performance dashboards across all locations.
- Implement best practices for inventory accuracy, asset traceability, and shipment management.
- Introduce continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Act as the primary logistics escalation point for Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, warehouse providers, and customs agents.
- Align logistics strategies with compliance, export control, and safety requirements.
- Provide strategic reporting to senior management on logistics performance, risks, and initiatives.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Develop and enforce standards for safe equipment handling, security, and incident prevention.
- Oversee audit readiness for SOX, ISO, or internal compliance requirements.
- Lead root-cause analyses for logistics failures or losses and ensure preventive actions.
- Mitigate operational and supply chain risks related to multi-site operations and vendor dependencies.

Qualifications:
