What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Control Coordinator (Purchasing) position at Neaton Rome?

Summary:

Coordinator is responsible for ordering/maintaining inventory at appropriate levels for assigned parts without expedited freight cost,

work stoppages in production or missed shipments to customers.

Reports To:

Production Control Supervisor

Responsibilities:

・Order component parts and raw material to supply production department based on customer's requirements.

・Inventory Control

・Coordinate design change activities

・Support new model start up

・Coordinate Physical inventory

・Assist in documentation and implementation of company policies and procedures and all TS 16949 & ISO 14001 compliance requirements

・Support SDG's activities and maintain 6S

・Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

・Good communication skills, written and verbal

・Basic math skill

・Ability for document control

・Good organization and problem-solving skills

・High School, GED or work-related experience

・Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products

・Assist in answering the phone

・Any additional job duties assigned

Environment:

Mainly in the office. Need to go to pant floor, warehouse, and shipping / receiving to count parts / raw material.

The associates are exposed to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, solvents, electrical energy, toxic materials,

hazardous chemicals and all types of weather and temperature conditions; work in confined spaces;

work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces.

Physical:

Sufficient physical ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting; standing and walking for prolonged periods of time;

climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and operating motorized equipment.

Vision:

See in the normal visual range with or without correction;

vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents and to operate equipment.

Hearing:

Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
