E-Commerce Operations Manager

Neat Stuff Collectibles, LLC
Middletown, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 10/12/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/9/2027

We’re looking for a hands-on e-commerce production manager who understands how technology, people, and physical inventory have to work together.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk management job. It is a hands on player/coach role. You will coordinate four existing employees across listing and fulfillment, but you will also work directly in the process yourself.

You should be very comfortable with eBay and e-commerce operations: Seller Hub, listing tools, photography and scanning, spreadsheets, inventory tracking, shipping systems, and learning new software. We want someone who is always looking for ways to use technology to remove steps, reduce mistakes, increase efficiency and increase output while maintaining quality control.

You do not need to come in as an expert in comics, toys, or comic art. We already have product experts. What you do need is the ability to take the information those experts provide and turn it into listings, organized inventory, optimized space and shipped product quickly and correctly.

Your main job is simple:

Create more flow.

More product processed.

More listings produced.

More inventory organized and digitized.

More wholesale orders fulfilled.

More product shipped.

Less merchandise sitting around waiting for somebody to move it.

The right person is physically present, highly accountable, comfortable with messy real-world inventory, and relentless about identifying and fixing bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for improving day-to-day production across listing, inventory, and fulfillment. That includes:

- Managing and coaching listing staff by example not decree

  • Coordinating with fulfillment staff

- Increasing eBay and e-commerce listing output

- Improving photography, scanning, and listing workflows

- Organizing inventory so products can be found, listed, sold, and shipped faster

  • Optimizing warehouse space usage

- Using spreadsheets, software, and e-commerce tools to track work and reduce confusion

- Helping fulfill wholesale and online orders

- Identifying bottlenecks and fixing them

- Working directly in the warehouse and production process when needed

- Creating simple systems that make the team faster and more accountable

What we care about

We care more about output, ownership, and problem solving than credentials.

You should be the kind of person who notices when product has been sitting too long, asks why, and figures out how to move it. You should be comfortable walking between a computer, a photo station, a shipping table, and a warehouse shelf. You should like making work move faster.

This role is a good fit if you:

- Have real e-commerce or marketplace experience

- Know eBay or can learn it quickly

- Are comfortable with spreadsheets and inventory systems

- Can manage people without disappearing into meetings

  • Like technology and finding new uses and products to increase output and efficiency

- Can work on-site and stay close to the actual process

- Like improving systems, not just complaining about them

- Are organized enough to track work, but practical enough to keep things moving

- Are willing to get your hands dirty

Schedule and compensation

This is a full-time, on-site position in Middletown, NY.

Expected schedule: approximately 40–50 hours per week.

Starting salary: $52,000

There is significant additional performance-based compensation tied to measurable results. For someone who materially increases throughput, production, and profitable sales, there is an opportunity to significantly increase base compensation.

This is an unusual opportunity because the economics are real. We are an established, high-volume collectibles business. If you can help us process more inventory, create more listings, ship more product, and generate more profitable sales, we can afford to pay for that performance.

If you are a practical e-commerce operator who can manage people, improve systems, and make physical inventory move faster, we want to talk.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person

Salary : $52,000 - $95,000
