Cleaning Technician

Neat Freaks Cleaning Services of South Florida is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This position services commercial properties in the West Palm Beach area and is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering exceptional results, and is committed to maintaining clean, healthy, and professional environments.

This position is three days per week, with shifts on Monday, Thursday, and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), totaling approximately 18 hours per week. As our company continues to grow, there may be opportunities for additional hours and advancement.

Because this role involves traveling between multiple client locations, applicants must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license. This role will require you to carry the cleaning supplies (supply box and vacuum) with you to the job location. We also provide a gas stipend to help offset fuel costs while traveling between client locations during your shift.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician, you'll play an important role in helping our clients maintain clean, healthy, and welcoming work environments. Responsibilities include:

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and entryways.
• Dust furniture, windowsills, baseboards, ledges, and other horizontal surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and hard flooring using a commercial backpack vacuum.
• Mop, and spot-clean hard floor surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, desks, countertops, telephones, and shared equipment.
• Clean kitchen and breakroom areas, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators (accessible interior surfaces and exterior), tables, and cabinets as needed.
• Refill restroom and kitchen supplies, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumables.
• Clean mirrors and interior glass surfaces.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow all company cleaning procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Ensure every client location is left clean, organized, and secure.

Weekly Schedule:

Monday: Evenings (6pm-10:30pm)

Thursday: Evenings (6pm-10:30pm)

Saturday or Sunday: (8am-4pm)

Requirements include:

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is preferred but not required—we provide paid training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, walking, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to travel between multiple client locations.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
