Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, and other surfaces to eliminate allergens and improve air quality
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and supplies; ensure all equipment is used safely and stored properly
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles; commercial or janitorial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including dusting, surface sanitation, carpet cleaning, and floor care methods
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely without injury
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day
