What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fertilization Department Manager/Sales position at Neat and Green Lawn Care?
Current MDARD 3A, 3B, 6, 7A and 7F state certification required. You will be responsible for all daily activities such as scheduling, estimation, quality assurance, cost monitoring, staff training and development, ordering and organization of supplies. Will involve direct supervision of crews as well as actual applicator duties when needed. Plan, promote and execute a plan for developing new sales, as well as provide timely and accurate proposals to potential clients. Responsible for accurately identifying all expenses related to each project and insuring the company can meet or exceed its projected profit margins. Responsible for reading, understanding and keeping current with MSDS and product labels. Able to calibrate, perform safety inspections and maintain chemical storage/mixing areas. Able to identify particular needs of a customer's lawn and communicate those needs effectively to the customer. Able to diagnose and treat turf/ornamental plant pests and disease. Current and accurate knowledge of turf/plant management chemical/organic products.
*At least two years experience required. Must have a valid Michigan Chauffeur's driver's license, a good driving record and be very familiar with the mid-Michigan area.
