The candidate for this role will play a key role as a member of the Finance Team by providing leadership and strategies to mitigate risk and increase or expedite cash flow across the portfolio. The right candidate for this job must possess the following:
- Leadership skills to work with, communicate, and develop the various staff members
- Use best industry practices and GAAP accounting
- Ability to make credit decisions based on volume, terms, and credit history.
- Support all as an escalation contact for troubled accounts and similar matters.
- Provide clear and concise reporting to regions and corporate leaders highlighting current state, progress or trends within the OTC process
- Manage bad debt reserves by giving monthly reports on balances that should be reserved for potential write-off or questionable accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Accounting) preferred
- 7 Years Experience working as Credit Manager or AR Management roles
- 3 Years Experience Managing Team Members
- Completely fluent in MS Suite Product (Primarily mastery of Excel)
- Ability to create custom reports to present to leadership
- Maintain a running dashboard illustrating overall performance
- Experience with Service Titan and Sage Intacct a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the Accounts Receivable for all regional branches
- Host bi-weekly meeting with regional and branch leadership for those carrying >60-day balances to discuss status, resolve, escalations
- Convey feedback on bi-weekly meetings to regional and or global leadership reporting high risk accounts
- Craft and send formal demand letters, collection notices and other similar documents.
- File proofs of claim, liens as well as handle lien waivers
