Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in menu planning to introduce new pizza options and seasonal specials
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives with precision skills
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards during high-volume service periods
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizza for special functions or group orders
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cooking, catering, or kitchen support
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on pizza preparation and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food presentation
