Physical Therapist | Inpatient Rehab (IPR) | Neuro-Focused | PSLF $10K Sign-On

Nealy Pierce is partnering with a nonprofit hospital system in the Jacksonville, FL area to hire a full-time Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist (PT). This is a permanent, W-2 hospital-based IPR role with a heavy neurological caseload, a modern clinical environment, and a strong mentorship culture. New graduate physical therapists with IPR rotation experience will be considered alongside experienced IPR PTs.

• 70% neurological caseload — stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), amputees, and multi-trauma patients
• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) — nonprofit hospital system
• Low patient volume: 4 to 6 patients per day with 60 to 90 minute treatment sessions
• 6 contact hours per 8-hour day productivity expectation (one of the lowest in inpatient rehab)
• State-of-the-art rehab equipment: Litegate, Bioness, Core Balance (digital)
• Private patient rooms, recently updated clinical environment
• Collaborative rehab team of experienced PTs, OTs, and SLPs
• Strong mentorship culture led by experienced IPR clinicians

Schedule:

• Flexible start time for PTs (8 to 9 AM)
• Full-time, permanent W-2 role

Compensation & Benefits:

• $10,000 sign-on bonus over 3-year commitment (paid $10K at 30 days, $10K at 1 year, $10K at 2 years)
• Sign-on bonus can be redirected to loan provider instead
• $5,000 relocation assistance (receipt-based)
• PSLF eligible through nonprofit hospital employer
• Yearly merit increases (up to 3%) plus Merit Plus bonus when hospital hits benchmarks (~$1,000 in 2025)
• Wellness program bonus up to $500/year
• $0.75/hr weekend differential
• CEU support (case by case, will help with marketable certifications)
• 23 days PTO

Ideal Candidate:

• DPT or MPT from an accredited program
• Active or pending applicable state PT license
• Experienced acute care PTs with an inpatient rotation may also be considered
• Detail-oriented with a big-picture clinical perspective
• Strong communicator across all levels of staff, patients, and families
• Collaborative, team-oriented, servant-leader mindset
