Acute Care Physical Therapist | Regional Medical Center | 8 Patients/Day

- High-acuity caseload: ICU, severe ortho trauma, neuro, stroke, and complex post-op
- Work on a massive, highly collaborative acute team with dedicated rehab support staff
- Extensive 8-to-12 week structured onboarding process paired with a dedicated senior preceptor
- Flexible scheduling: Open to 4x10s or 5x8s
- Weekend Rotation: Minimal coverage required (paid at a premium overtime rate)
- Paid Time Off (PTO) = 21 days annually to start
- Full-time, permanent position
About the Physical Therapist Position: Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader who truly cares about patient care. We are not looking for an individual who is simply looking for their next "job", but someone who wants to invest in their career to help patients understand what has happened to their bodies through their injury/condition. Education of the patient is the number one priority in helping them realize how their body will react to treatment and where they will go once they leave the hospital.
Physical Therapist Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Acute Care experience preferred (but strong new grads will be considered)
- Team player who adapts well to changing high-acuity caseloads
- Servant leader mindset
