What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Neal M. Unger, P.C. Attorneys at Law?
We seek a civil litigation Attorney to join our team who is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and has at least two years or more experience with a New Jersey law firm handling personal injury litigation on behalf of plaintiffs. Experience with medical malpractice and/or employment litigation is a plus. The responsibilities include, legal research, taking and defending depositions, preparing and responding to discovery demands, preparing and filing pleadings, motions, briefs, trial preparation and attending court appearances to argue motions and try cases.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with N.J. Court Rules and Procedures, including N.J. E-courts and Pacer.
-Excellent legal research and brief writing skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
