General Labor- Underground Utility Construction

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our underground utility construction crew. This position involves hands-on work installing water lines, sewer lines, and telecommunications infrastructure. Ideal candidates are hardworking, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and repair of underground water, sewer, and telecom utilities
• Perform manual labor including digging, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup
• Work around heavy equipment and construction tools safely
• Follow job site safety procedures and company policies
• Support equipment operators and crew leads as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean driving record is mandatory
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
• Must be physically capable of heavy labor and comfortable getting dirty
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience operating or assisting with a mini excavator
• Prior underground utility or construction experience

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
