Imagine owning the quality plan for a complex, aerospace-machined component—from first article through production—while partnering with machinists and engineers to keep parts right the first time.Your missionEngineer inspections that work in the real world: Create and refine CMM programs in PC‑DMIS and MCOSMOS; design fixturing and setups that deliver repeatable results.Translate intent into execution: Turn drawings, CAD models, and specs into inspection strategies rooted in GD&T best practices.Make the measurements trustable: Lead MSA and gage R verify results meet drawings and specifications.Prove readiness: Build control plans, inspection plans, FAI, and PPAP packages aligned with customer requirements and contracts.Elevate quality culture: Collaborate across engineering, machining, and QC; keep the workspace organized and safe; tackle other duties as they arise.What it takesBackground as a Quality Engineer (or equivalent); Engineering degree preferred.3 years programming CMMs.Mastery of GD&T, blueprint reading, and modern inspection techniques.Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100.Hands-on manufacturing quality inspection/assurance experience.Comfort with statistical tools (Minitab, SPC) to interpret measurement data.Composed and effective in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.Self-starter who drives initiatives with minimal supervision; strong program/project management.Clear, confident communicator with executive presence.Required backgroundAssociate degree in an engineering discipline required; Bachelor’s preferred.5 years of relevant experience required.Supplier Quality experience with aerospace machining suppliers.Experience deploying and managing PPAP.Strengths we valueQuality inspection experienceContinuous improvementStatistical process control (SPC)AS9100 experienceBlueprint readingTech you'll touchHexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)PC‑DMISMCOSMOSEligibility & statementsMust be a U.S. citizen.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
