- Own dimensional verification for new machined components by programming and optimizing CMM routines in PC-DIMS and MCOSMOS
- Translate engineering drawings, CAD, and specifications into clear, efficient inspection plans
- Design/select fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure measurement repeatability and accuracy
- Verify conformance by reviewing inspection and testing results against all requirements
- Validate measurement integrity with MSA and gage R&R
- Author and sustain control plans, inspection plans, FAI, and PPAP packages to customer requirements
- Confirm project and process control documentation meets internal, customer, and contract expectations
- Collaborate daily with engineers, machinists, and quality control teams to resolve issues
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; follow all safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Quality Engineer (or comparable) experience; Engineering degree preferred
- 3 years of hands-on CMM programming experience
- Strong command of GD&T, print reading, and inspection techniques
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Manufacturing-based quality inspection/assurance experience
- Statistical analysis capability using tools such as Minitab and SPC
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Team-first attitude; passion for excellence and continuous improvement
- Works independently; able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision
