Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery with precision and safety.
- Manage a range of trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for material transportation and site logistics.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and other construction activities as directed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation hours, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other relevant equipment.
- Construction site experience is highly preferred to understand project workflows and safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Familiarity with farm machinery or similar heavy-duty vehicles is a plus.
