About the Role
NDx Clinical Research is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Clinical Research Recruitment Lead to lead patient recruitment, physician engagement, and recruitment marketing across our growing portfolio of Alzheimer's disease, neurology, and psychiatry clinical trials.
This is more than a recruitment position. You'll develop innovative enrollment strategies, build referral relationships with physicians and healthcare providers, oversee participant recruitment operations, and help connect patients with cutting-edge clinical research opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving recruitment challenges, and helping grow one of the Midwest's emerging CNS clinical research programs.
Working closely with investigators, study coordinators, and research leadership, you will develop and execute recruitment strategies, monitor enrollment performance, optimize outreach efforts, and build scalable recruitment processes that support continued organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead patient recruitment and enrollment strategies across multiple clinical research studies.
- Identify eligible participants through EMR review, recruitment databases, physician referrals, and other outreach initiatives.
- Conduct participant outreach, prescreening, scheduling, and ongoing recruitment follow-up.
- Build and maintain referral relationships with physicians, specialists, healthcare practices, and community partners.
- Develop provider education, referral, and physician engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate recruitment marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, analyze enrollment performance, and continuously optimize recruitment strategies.
- Maintain recruitment workflows, documentation, and performance tracking within the CTMS.
- Collaborate with investigators and study teams during study startup to develop recruitment plans and enrollment projections.
- Develop standardized recruitment tools, workflows, and best practices that can be scaled across studies and future growth.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with GCP, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and applicable ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related, science, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Three or more years of experience in clinical research, patient recruitment, healthcare operations, physician relations, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience recruiting participants for clinical trials or healthcare programs.
- Experience building relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, or referral networks.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CTMS, EMR/EHR systems, recruitment databases, and recruitment marketing.
- Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and implement continuous process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Alzheimer's disease, neurology, psychiatry, or other CNS therapeutic areas.
- CCRP, CCRC, or other clinical research certification.
- Experience supporting study startup, feasibility assessments, or physician engagement initiatives.
- Experience working within physician practices, health systems, site networks, or other growing clinical research organizations.
