Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting revenue growth by managing customer inquiries, maintaining accurate CRM records, and assisting Sales Managers with quotation and order processing in collaboration with Technical Sales Specialists. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional who delivers timely, accurate, and positive interactions while ensuring that customer requirements are met efficiently. This position is located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to prepare accurate quotations and assist with the order management process.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing clear and accurate product and service information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries, including those received through the company website, webstore or CRM.
- Accurately assess customer requirements and initiate quote requests through the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate and current CRM records, including customer contacts, opportunities, and communication history.
- Support Sales Managers in maintaining a transparent and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast.
- Conduct routine post-sale follow-ups to verify customer satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and gather feedback.
- Proactively engage customers regarding calibration renewals, service contracts, and other recurring needs.
- Work with the Accounting Department to support improvements in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overall receivables performance.
Experience, Skills, and Education
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dynamic inside sales or remote selling environment.
- Experience in sales of nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment, instrumentation and control systems, or test and measurement technologies is preferred;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Proven self-starter with strong initiative, customer focus, and follow-through.
- Proficiency with CRM systems; familiarity with Shopify and Acumatica platforms preferred.,
- Spanish language proficiency considered an asset.
Compensation
- Base salary, depending on candidate’s experience plus commission based on achieving quarterly and annual sales targets;
- 3 weeks paid vacation time per year;
