For more than 40 years, CEPEDA has manufactured, serviced, and upgraded life support equipment and other complex mechanical components for the U.S. Navy’s submarine fleet. CEPEDA’s equipment is responsible for removing atmospheric contaminants such as carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Plus, CEPEDA has over 30 years of experience with equipment in high-pressure applications. Aside from our normal array of equipment, CEPEDA offers build-to-print manufacturing for numerous other mechanical applications.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Will apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- SNT-TC-IA Level II Visual testing, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant
- Shop math and print reading skills required
- Ability to distinguish color to meet specific inspection criteria
- Ability to use basic computer functions for data entry, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with positive attitude
- Potentially travel for work for additional training as needed
- Work overtime as requested
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- Must be dependable
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to perform visual and liquid penetrant inspections on castings
- Review and interpret radiographic film
- Stooping, bending, crouching, reaching
- Standing for long periods of time, up to 95% of shift
