Key Responsibilities:
- AV Systems Programming:
- Design and program control systems using Crestron and Q-SYS platforms.
- Customize user interfaces, system functions, and automation sequences to meet client specifications.
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug systems to ensure full functionality and integration with other technologies.
- Optimize systems for performance and scalability, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- System Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal teams, ensuring systems operate smoothly.
- Perform routine system maintenance, diagnostics, and updates to prevent issues and enhance system performance.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
- Availability for “on-call” support, including outside of regular working hours, when necessary.
- Leadership & Team Support:
- Mentor and train junior technicians on programming best practices, installation methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Supervise and support installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and within deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance on complex projects, assisting in the resolution of challenging issues to ensure project success.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AV system programming and installation, specializing in Crestron and Q-SYS technologies.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Crestron Simpl Windows, Q-SYS Designer, and related programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, including audio/video processing, video conferencing, and control system integration.
- Leadership and mentoring experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and guide teams effectively.
- Certifications: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Q-SYS Level 2 Training, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
