Security Analyst

An entry-level position to get your foot into the door of cybersecurity. As a SOC Technician, you'll work with SIEM tools to monitor firewalls, servers, workstations, networks, and any device with an IP address.

Investigate and respond to alerts, dive into logs, and use your research skills to differentiate false positives from the real threats.

Great for students or recent graduates looking to break into IT!

We are a 24/7/365 business and our shifts are typically one of these shifts.
12a-8a Friday/Monday with 12a-12p Saturday/Sunday
4p-12p Friday/Monday with 12p-12a Saturday/Sunday

All shifts are four-day work weeks with three days off.

Minimum requirements:
- Degree in IT-related fields, or equivalent amount of experience. A , Network , Security , or other IT/security certificates qualifies as well
- Enjoys working with and learning about new information technology solutions
- A highly motivated and dependable "self-starter"
- Interested in IT/Data security
- Ability to recognize security impacts and respond appropriately
- Professional and polished phone/meeting presence
- Ability to understand technology vulnerabilities and their threats to a business.
- Proficient at keyboarding (40 wpm)

Experience in the following areas is a plus and will be considered for higher compensation:
- Security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
- PowerShell or Regex
- Technical troubleshooting

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
