NDI Engineering Company is looking for a systems engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This candidate would independently analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources and modern hardware solutions. Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting operating systems and software.

Job Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to project team members and participates in the evaluation of new technical resources.
- Provides assistance to users in the development and integration of systems and environments. Installs and manages systems and user utilities for modifications and upgrades of systems and environments and efficiently diagnoses and resolves system problems.
- Works with manufacturers and vendors of systems with regard to problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Plans and executes system version upgrade releases and custom interfaces.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience: Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering, with two (2) of the years being fulltime experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, productivity studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support.
- Security Clearance: Possess or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Software/Hardware, Certifications/Licenses: Cameo, JIRA, Confluence and Security .
