What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager position at NDC Commercial Construction?
NDC is seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our Project Management team on commercial construction projects across Connecticut and surrounding markets. This role is part of where we deliver complex commercial builds, renovations, and tenant improvement projects through a highly collaborative, execution-focused team.

What you’ll do
- Support PMs on active commercial construction projects
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation (Procore)
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Help manage schedules, coordination, and subcontractor communication
- Attend project meetings and job walks with field office teams
- Keep projects organized, moving, and accountable
What we’re looking for
- 2–5 years in construction (GC or subcontractor experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and project flow
- Proficiency with Procore / Bluebeam / MS Project (or similar tools)
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator who can work across field office teams
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
