Operations Manager – Mental Health Outpatient Practice
Location: Erwin, NC
Type: Full-Time
Are you an organized, motivated leader passionate about helping a mental health team operate at its best? We’re seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing outpatient therapy practice. This role ensures that our administrative, clinical, and billing processes run smoothly—so our providers can focus on delivering exceptional care to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and support staff.
- Manage scheduling, billing coordination, and workflow efficiency.
- Support onboarding, training, and supervision of administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership, clinicians, and administrative teams.
- Promote a professional, supportive, and client-centered environment.
- Report to Executive Directors
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3 years of operations or management experience, ideally in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA compliance.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Growth:
- This position offers a starting pay of $25.00 and hour, with regular increases upon successful completion of trainings, probationary period, and modulars.
- After completing the initial onboarding, 90-day probation, performance and competency, and modulars will be evaluated, and the salary may scale up to the full Operations Manager rate which is $28.00-$30 and hour.
