Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with chronic wounds in Ashland, KY, Huntington, WV, Ironton, OH and surrounding area. There can be some travel involved. Travel expense will be paid.
Duties
- Assessing and treating various types of wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans
- Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress
- Educating patients and caregivers on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Performing procedures such as wound debridement, dressing changes, and negative pressure wound therapy
Qualifications
- Valid NP/Medical license with Wound Care experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Strong knowledge of internal medicine principles and wound care best practices
Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
