ND Home Health is seeking dependable caregivers to assist clients with everyday activities, personal care, household routines, and companionship. Each assignment takes place in a client’s residence and usually involves working one-on-one rather than caring for several people at once.
A Typical Shift Could Include
- Helping a client get dressed and ready for the day
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, or toileting
- Supporting safe walking, positioning, or transfers
- Making a simple meal or helping with meal preparation
- Completing light housekeeping or laundry
- Spending time with the client and providing supervision
- Documenting completed tasks
- Contacting the office when there is a concern or change in condition
Important Details About the Role
This is a non-medical caregiving position. It is not located in a nursing home, hospital, or group facility.
Caregivers must be comfortable making decisions within their training, following a care plan, and working independently inside a client’s home. Consistency is important because clients depend on caregivers arriving as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel locally within Ransom County
- Ability to perform physical caregiving tasks safely
- Respectful and professional communication
- Dependable attendance
- CNA license or previous care experience is preferred, but not always required
Available Hours
Schedules are developed around individual client needs. Some cases may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends. The number of available hours may vary as new clients begin services.
