NDSH - Jamestown, ND - Forensic Services Clinical Lead
The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, North Dakota is a specialized psychiatric hospital that serves the whole state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forensic Services Clinical Lead to oversee the operational, administrative, and competency restoration functions of our forensic services unit. This pivotal role provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team serving individuals involved in the criminal justice system, with a focus on competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility evaluations.
You will provide oversight of forensic services operations and competency restoration programming while guiding a multidisciplinary team through assessments and treatment planning. You will ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, while offering mentorship and support to staff to foster professional growth and excellence. Success in this role also requires collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the delivery of mental health services and working closely with state hospital leadership and statewide human service center leadership to align programming with community needs.
To be considered for the Forensic Services Clinical Lead position, you must have Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral health field, (Doctoral degree is preferred) and minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.
