Job Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team across multiple locations in Iowa. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care according to individualized care plans and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule.
- Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, and document any changes.
- Assist with patient assessments and report condition updates to the RN or physician.
- Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff to maintain quality care.
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and other clinical tasks as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and care plans.
- Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the State of Iowa (required).
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, or related settings preferred.
- Strong clinical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $44 per hour
- Flexible scheduling options including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
