We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator with hands-on experience operating Panasonic SMT equipment in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team supporting high-volume PCB assembly operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Panasonic SMT machines including pick-and-place equipment, screen printers, and reflow ovens
- Perform machine setup, feeder loading, line changeovers, and program verification
- Monitor production lines to maintain efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime
- Conduct first article inspections and verify PCB quality standards
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues
- Replace feeders, nozzles, and consumables as needed
- Follow IPC standards, ESD procedures, and manufacturing protocols
- Support preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of SMT manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with Panasonic SMT equipment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and electronic components
- Familiarity with feeder setup, machine calibration, and AOI systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume production environment
Preferred:
- IPC-A-610 certification
- Experience in electronics or medical device manufacturing
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
