POSITION: INSIDE SALES MANAGERBACKGROUND:NCS has been providing product-based IT service solutions to Federal, military, and commercial customers since our inception in 1996. These solutions center on a wide range of hardware from end user devices, to rugged mobile computers for field operations, and networking, compute, GPU, and storage equipment for integration into military platforms. Over the years, NCS built up a substantial integration, manufacturing, quality, and logistics infrastructure. We also developed and refined robust business practices to compete effectively in the markets that we focus on; e.g., Federal civilian agencies, all three branches of the military, the Federal System Integrator community serving them, and private enterprises.Recently, NCS was awarded a contract under the 4th generation U.S. Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions β Hardware (ITES-4H). Combined with our existing ADMC-3, CCS-3, SEWP V, GSA contracts and CHS-6 sub-contract, we now hold robust portfolio enabling us to pursue a wide range of business opportunities across military services and DoD agencies including reselling end user devices and enterprise IT equipment, providing multi-OEM system integration services, and modifying/adapting COTS IT hardware for tactical deployment.To Support this expanded footprint, we are seeking a driven, capable and enthusiastic Inside Sales Manager to help grow our presence across all military services and DoD agencies. This role will focus on identifying opportunities, managing customer engagements, coordinating with OEMs, and driving pursuit activities across our contract portfolio.POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Sales Manager will be a key member of the DoD Strategic Solutions sales team and will report to its Director. The Team operates within the Client and Enterprise Solution Group and is responsible for implementing our Go-to-Market strategy by promoting product and service solutions that are aligned with Government requirements. The primary responsibility of the selected individual for this position will be developing NCS price quotes in response to transactional RFQs issued through the aforementioned contract vehicles.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Quickly develop a deep understanding of NCS and the unique aspects of our business by actively engaging with colleagues, OEM and business partners, and customers, enabling a clear grasp of all elements of our value proposition, including:Knowledge of the ecosystem of the industryRelationships with key players in the industryBusiness, financial, technical, engineering, integration, and logistic service capabilitiesSmall business corporate status of NCS as a differentiatorKeen understanding of NCS' responsibilities, obligations, and rights under the ADMC-3, ITES-4H, CCS-3, SEWP V, GSA, and CHS-6Respond to inbound sale leads originating from multiple channels, including various military services and DoD agencies procurement portals, email inquiries, and phone calls.Proactively contact customers base by phone or email to identify, develop, and capture sales leads, and coordinate customer meetings for the Director and the NCS Team.Review assigned RFQs from government procurement portals and make bid/no bid determination based on NCS product catalog offerings and established OEM relationships.Refer RFQs that require complex solutions and formal proposals to management for further reviews and actions.Develop quotes in response to RFQs that are transactional in Update bid/no-bid status within appropriate When preparing NCS responses to RFQs, source compliant and most cost competitive products by working with OEMs, distributors, VARs, and internal NCS teams.Prepare NCS responses to RFQs by utilizing existing price quote templates established for each individual contract and make sure that each response is in full compliant with not only technical specifications but also contractual terms and conditions.Monitor the status of each RFQ response until its final disposition and make contacts with contracting officials and end users to promote NCS' solution as appropriate.Prepare customer submitted orders for processing by the Sales Operations Coordination team and ensure all required information is complete and accurate.Provide supplemental post-sales support alongside the Sales Operations Coordination team, including following up on order status requests, providing tracking information, reporting damages and initiating Repair Orders as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:To successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position, the individual must possess and the following qualifications and personal attributes:Minimum three (3) years of experience in selling IT hardware products to the military services and DoD agencies under an ITES, ADMC, CCS, SEWP, or GSA contract.Intimately familiar with the competitive landscape of the government computer integrator/reseller market including key OEMs, distributors, potential complementary partners, supply chain, and Familiar with various OEMs whose products are the mainstays of the aforementioned Must be familiar with working directly with OEMs and distributors, both through personal interactions and by using their catalog portals, to obtain product information and pricing needed to prepare NCS Must be detail oriented, disciplined, and diligent to prepare and submit timely and accurate price quotes to customers.Familiar with computer and networking technologies, hardware and software including end user computing devices, compute, GPU, and storage servers, operating systems, major software platforms, Must be familiar with government procurement Must possess a strong work ethic plus "hands-on" and "ready to roll up one's sleeves" leadership trait (to fit in with NCS' culture).Must possess a persistent, patient, and relentless personality to effectively pursue business Must be entrepreneurial and resourceful, with the ability
