Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing.
- be able to lift 50 pounds
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Perform roof inspections and identify repair needs related to roofing repair, restoration, or siding installation.
- Follow strict safety protocols including the proper use of construction safety harnesses, ladder use procedures, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Support the fabrication of roofing materials or components as needed for specific projects.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades is a plus but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with roofing repair, single-ply membrane roofing.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, caulking equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
