Inventory Planner
Location: Houston, Texas
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Inventory Planner to support and optimize our inventory operations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating across departments to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate is analytical, comfortable with data tools, and an effective communicator with both internal teams and external partners.
Inventory Management & Verification
- Receive, verify, and accurately log incoming inventory shipments.
- Maintain organized staging areas and uphold inventory accuracy standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables), Quickbase, Oracle, and PowerBI to track, analyze, and interpret inventory data.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or concerns related to inventory records.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure inventory aligns with forecasts.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Coordinate with routers and transportation teams to support logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbase, Oracle, and PowerBI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
