Summary
The Reconciliation Manager oversees two teams of reconcilers responsible for ATM, Vault, and Bank reconciliations across U.S. Deposits, Canada, and Mexico. This role requires the ability to resolve escalated and complex issues, manage cross-border teams, and lead new cash reconciliation initiatives and customer setups.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Review daily reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Manage the ATM shortage reconciliation process, including armored carrier and processor claims.
- Lead and oversee the setup of new bailment providers.
- Partner with senior accounting leadership and IT to evaluate, redesign, and implement reconciliation-related systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
- Serve as the business lead for internal and external audits.
- Resolve escalated reconciliation issues and inquiries.
- Manage employee-related matters for assigned teams, including performance management and development. Team locations include the U.S. and UK.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; other degrees in Banking or Financial Services considered.
- 7–10 years of experience in medium to large-scale organizations.
- Proven supervisory and people management experience.
- Strong process improvement skills and demonstrated ability to act as a change agent.
- Effective communication skills with senior management and cross-functional partners.
- Experience with reconciliation software (e.g., Monarch) preferred.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft Access) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Access, and advanced Excel.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background screening checks.
