Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing young minds. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 3 to 5 years old. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and participation.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Provide care and supervision for children during classroom activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and early childhood education principles.
- Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Experience in teaching physical education or related activities is a plus.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices and developmental milestones.
- Ability to provide tutoring support as needed for individual student growth.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
