We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Therapist to join our team full-time or part-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Therapist with Carolina Outreach, you will provide group and individual substance use disorder counseling to individuals with a substance use disorder.

Position Description:

• Respond to client and/or stakeholder concerns or complaints as needed.
• Ensure all services provided are appropriately authorized.
• Create, develop, monitor, revise, and implement the client’s Person-Centered Plan.
• Provide clinical guidance and/or oversight in the development of crisis plans and transition plans when clients move in and out of services.
• Provide written documentation as required. This will include treatment notes, goals, and plans for the medical record (e.g., service notes, person-centered plan)

Duties May Also Include

• DWI Services
• Complete DWI assessments
• Facilitate DWI group and individual treatment
• Complete 508s for DWI assessments and treatment completion
• Ensure that all fees are paid prior to 508 submission
• Other duties appropriate for a Substance use disorder Counselor, as assigned.
• Advocate for the client, family, and natural supports in the community.

Compensation:

Estimated income ranges:

• Associate Licensed: $54,373 - $60,168
• Fully Licensed: $57,234 - $64,958

*Final compensation is determined by factors such as education, licensure level, experience and other qualifications.

• Education: Master's degree in Pyschology, social work or counseling.
• Licensure: Must hold a LCAS/A in NC.
