Dump Truck Driver

NCEP LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Dump Truck Driver to join our growing excavation and paving team. The ideal candidate will safely operate company dump trucks while assisting with hauling materials to and from job sites, supporting paving and grading crews, and helping maintain equipment and job site efficiency.

This is a hands-on position with steady work in residential and commercial paving, grading, and excavation projects throughout Western North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport asphalt, gravel, dirt, stone, and construction materials
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain clean and safe equipment
• Assist crews on job sites when needed
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures
• Coordinate with foremen, dispatch, and project managers
• Properly secure and cover loads when required
• Report mechanical issues or maintenance concerns promptly
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license preferred
• Clean driving record and insurance record
• Experience operating dump trucks and hauling equipment preferred
• Knowledge of paving, grading, or excavation industry is a plus
• Ability to work long hours
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to perform physical labor when necessary

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
