Description
Looking for a highly motivated LPN who can work well independently in a residential setting. This position will require travel between two locations and coordination of services for adults with developmental disabilities.
Main Duties will Include:
- Delegation of nursing tasks in accordance with the Board of Nursing
- Training Direct Support Professionals in the skills needed to perform selected tasks according to the rules and regulations of the Board of Nursing and Department of Developmental Disabilities
- Providing supervision and professional nursing care to the individuals under the direction of the Director of nursing.
- Responsible for nursing quality control measures
- Administration of medication as required
- Collects data and provides written input for ISP meetings
- Monitoring medication administration records
- On call duties
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- State of Ohio Nursing License and current with required CEUs
- Verification of pharmacology course (NAPNES_OPNES)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred but not required
- On call responsibilities
