We are seeking a highly motivated light duty Diesel Technician/Mechanic apprentice to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light duty diesel trucks. Your expertise will ensure truck efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and operational reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for diesel repair and a drive to deliver top-quality repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, , suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep trucks in peak condition.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems, HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed and parts used; communicate effectively with team members and regarding repair status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician/Mechanic with dealership history or Independent repair background
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex systems; proficient with diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting safely.
- Knowledge of safety protocols , alignment procedures, suspension work, HVAC systems and tire service.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
