| Primary Purpose of Position | The Director for Academic Space Planning and Management is responsible for Capital and Space Planning and Management for the university, aligning space and physical resources with strategic vision to support N.C. A&T’s tripartite mission of teaching, research, and outreach. This position plans new facilities to meet programmatic needs and priorities of the campus including space and facility projects to support university growth areas and initiatives, development of strategies to improve utilization of existing space, and to develop strategies for environmentally friendly initiatives. This position will analyze and utilize space data to collaborate in the strategic and long-range planning for the programming, design, and development of campus space, properties, and facilities, including buildings, infrastructure, and landscape projects; research, design and program guidelines; compliance with environmental planning regulations and architectural design review. |
